How to convert HEIC to PDF
HEIC is Apple's default photo format on iPhone and iPad, offering excellent image quality at roughly half the file size of JPEG. While great for storage, HEIC files are not natively supported by Windows, most email clients, or web upload forms. Converting to PDF is particularly useful when you need to submit a photo as a document, such as for insurance claims, applications, or ID verification.
BoltConverter converts HEIC files to PDF on its servers. Each HEIC image is placed on its own PDF page at full quality. You can upload multiple HEIC photos and receive a multi-page PDF with all images.

Frequently asked questions
Will the image quality be maintained?
Yes. The HEIC is decoded at full quality and embedded in the PDF. There is no additional compression applied during the conversion.
Can I combine multiple HEIC photos into one PDF?
Yes. Upload multiple HEIC files and they will each appear on a separate page in a single PDF.
Will the EXIF data like GPS location be included?
EXIF metadata from the HEIC file is not typically carried into the PDF. If privacy is important, this is actually a benefit as location and device data are stripped.
Is there a file size limit?
BoltConverter accepts files up to 100 MB. Individual iPhone photos are typically 3-8 MB, well within this limit.
Are my photos kept private?
Your files are uploaded over HTTPS and deleted from the server immediately after conversion. BoltConverter does not store your photos.
