What bitrate does Apple use for M4A?
Apple Music streams at 256 kbps AAC. Voice memos record at much lower bitrates (32-96 kbps) depending on the recording mode. When converting to MP3, choose a bitrate appropriate to the source: use 256 kbps M4A as a source for 192-320 kbps MP3.
