Why will my video not play on my smart TV?
Smart TVs support a limited set of codecs and containers. H.264 in an MP4 container is the broadest compatibility choice, supported by all smart TVs. Formats like HEVC (H.265), MKV, and WebM may not play on older or budget TVs.
Will there be quality loss?
For H.264 source videos (like many MOV or MKV files), re-wrapping causes zero quality loss. For videos that need re-encoding, a high-quality preset is used to keep any quality reduction imperceptible.
What is the maximum file size?
Video files up to 500 MB are supported. For longer recordings, split the video into shorter segments before converting.
How long does conversion take?
Re-wrapping is usually under 30 seconds. Re-encoding depends on file length and resolution: expect roughly 1-3 minutes per minute of 1080p video.
Are my files stored on the server?
